The Italian football club Inter Milan has announced the signing of striker Davide Santon from Manchester United.
Santo, who was signed by United from Barcelona in July 2019, will join the Serie A champions on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old's arrival is expected to add depth to the midfield and provide him with more opportunities to showcase his talent.
Santo has already impressed for Inter's under-23 side and has been named in their squad for several friendlies.
He made his senior debut for the Italy U21s against England in February 2021, scoring a brace in the 5-0 victory over the English national team.
His performances have impressed the manager Roberto Mancini and he is expected to be part of Inter's starting line-up for the rest of the season.
Inter also confirmed that they had reached a deal with Manchester City for the transfer of defender Kevin de Bruyne,Ligue 1 Focus who was set to leave the Etihad Stadium in June.
De Bruyne, who scored 27 goals in all competitions last season, is expected to join Inter's squad as soon as possible.
